Radius rod Building tool
Our radius rod tool is a simple and efficient to use and is great for setting up exact length of spare tie rods and suspension radius rods for your side by side, modified, sprint car, micro sprint, midget even quarter midgets. Further the design allows you to break it down small enough to keep it in your tool box. Without restriction to length of rod you need to make! This tool is a great time time saver for shops that install radius rods on customers machines. 100% fill PLA studs and 6061t6 aluminum rods. To use simply remove the rod from your vehicle .Adjust tool to fit rod. Tighten knob on tool so desired length stays in place. Remove rod from tool and adjust heim ends on new rod so it will fit the tool. once in place tighten up the jam nuts on your new rod and you now have a spare rod ready to bolt on when needed.
*The SAE kit gives you the ability to set up 5/16,3/8,7/16,1/2,5/8, and 3/4 rod ends all with the same tool.
*The SXS model has 10mm, 12mm ,15mm, 1/2,5/8, and 3/4 all on the same tool. So you are able to set your aftermarket radius rods from your factory rods or even your factory sway bar links to your adjustable after market ones giving you a known good starting point.
**all kits includes 2) 17” rods to allow you the ability to set up a maximum of 30” rod. if you need to set up a longer suspension rod simply purchase as many extra rods you need. each rod is 17” long and will screw right into each other**
